This product is more effective than the seamless tummy shorts however if you're planning on wearing a tight dress, it is important to note that you can see the hooks, seams and material pattern through the dress. I wore seamless shorts (which I already owned) on top of this so that I had the tummy compression benefits of this product and the other shorts to create smoothness.
I originally bought the 2XL and exchanged for a L. Buying to my exact measurement originally, the product fits like a glove but for me, didn't provide enough compression in the lower abdomen where I need it to hold in my fatty belly area. I love that this product is suitable for curvy women as the softness and extra room on the bum area doesn't flatten your bum and sits nicely over, this is also good because if you have larger hips/bum but smaller upper, you can size down (I sized down 2 sizes) but its just the top waist band that gets quite tight. I personally would prefer if the corset part had an extra row of hooks for more compression on the tummy but otherwise quite satisfied with the product.
